The version of Dragon I was using was DragonDictate 2.5.2. Until either Apple improves its interface, or Dragon Dictate upgrades its Dictate, all people with handicaps involving their hands and keyboard are helpless. I was trying to use Nuance Dragon NaturallySpeaking for Mac with Open office but it crashes. It is hard to integrate numbers, texts and dates when using it. Apple's interface of having to click on the fn key to start and then click again to see it typed out is not only clumsy, it is hard to work with if you are doing anything other than making a simple message. It was running well until I updated to 2.5.2 and now it. My wife and I have difficulty typing now, we have some disabilities in our hands, and Dragon Dictate, even with it's problems, was a solution to us. I am running Dragon Dictate Version 2.5.2 on a MacBook Pro and a MAc desktop both running 10.6.8.
