The people of Europe didn't know survival and self-preservation too well, and lucky survivors have gone into hiding.Īfter the outbreak, a group of survivors and mercenaries have banded together to combat the outbreak and established privately funded operation bases across Europe. One month after the events in the original Killing Floor, the specimen clones are everywhere and civilization is in disarray communications have failed, governments have collapsed, and military forces have been systematically eradicated. Killing Floor 2 takes place in continental Europe, where an outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech has quickly spread and gained unstoppable momentum, destroying the European Union. I don't think I ever fought the Matriarch in HoE, however, so I can't compare them.Killing Floor 2 is the sequel to the survival horror game Killing Floor, published in 2009 for Windows and later for other platforms. In HoE maybe Hans because of the Fleshpounds. But at range he is quite harmless and his ray is easy to avoid, so good teamwork puts him down without an issue □ĮDIT: I mostly play Hard or Suicidal. The minions are very strong and when he rages on me, I usually die when people feed him. The abomination spends most of the fight sleeping/stunned and if you have a good medic, most of the poison damage is somewhat irrelevant. I have seen him wipe out 5 players at once like this. ![]() Patriarch and Hans can be easily put doen before they even get to heal, Hans is only strong in certain circumstances, when he is lucky to get his nades in a crowded place and the team is not paying attention. When compared to her, the other bosses feel like holidays, really. ![]() So, not only is she strong at short and long range, she also has, in my opinion, the most difficult minions to deal with. ![]() Then she has camouflage, which is not so OP on itself, but together with all her abilities makes it quite hard. She is strong in every level: she usually kills me in two melee hits, her laser attack does ridiculous damage and if I am unfortunate enough that she targets me as I enter a corridor, I know I will die. If you get caught up on something though, things can go bad pretty fast. His minions also have a ton of HP and continuously spawn so you can't afford to waste ammo on them. He's not too hard to kill, but you have to finish him off quickly, otherwise he'll fill up the map with piles of splooge. The QP's he spawns can trip you up of you're not careful, but aside from that, his low walking speed after attacking makes it easy to gain some distance. His ranged attack doesn't do nearly as much damage as the other ranged bosses. He can be easily outrun, and you can finish him off quickly if you don't let him heal, but his rockets do a lot of damage. But his grenades can be a real threat if you don't plan your route very well. Hans thankfully announces every attack, so he's at least predictable. Both of them are fast and have powerful ranged attacks that can bring your HP dangerously low in an instant. I think the Matriarch goes without saying.
